Nutrition is key to total wellness! After all, we are what we eat. Take time to understand how you feel during and after you eat certain foods. Do you feel energized and balanced or sluggish and drained? Beyond that, take note of how well you digest the foods you eat during the day by journaling or simply becoming aware of the foods that make you feel well and the ones that do not. 

Along with knowing the foods that nourish us, we also must learn how to create balanced meals everyday, all throughout the day. Our bodies are different today than they were yesterday, therefore it is essential to be mindful of what we eat, what our food ate, and how that food will ultimately nourish our body and mind.

When we can focus on nutrient dense whole-foods that align with our body (though mindful eating), the following can result:

  • Strong immunity
